The Hightech-Gründerfonds (HTGF) participates in the further development of Implisense’s customer search engine by providing seed financing. With the Software-as-a-Service solution, companies can use Big Data to find and retain B2B customers.
The special feature of the customer search engine is the example-based search on a structured company index of Implisense GmbH. The users give examples of existing customers or prospective customers in order to receive analyses and suggestions from the customer search engine for suitable additional companies. This can be used for the search for new customers as part of the lead generation as well as for the search for up-selling and cross-selling opportunities in large customer lists. Users can easily identify new business opportunities through example-based searches without having to master data mining.
The return on investment of these solutions is, according to the company, particularly attractive in the personnel-intensive corporate customer sales department. “Our software-as-a-service can be used from less than one hundred euros per month. Comparable solutions are not represented in the German market at this price “, says Christian Brüseke, Sales Manager of Implisense.
In order to provide precise suggestions for potential new customers or cross-sellings and upsellings, the former research assistants use Text Minings procedures to derive several hundred sales-relevant properties from public web data. The technology automatically updates a complex company index of several million companies, which can be analyzed and queried via the customer search engine as a software-as-a-service. The technology for structuring previously unstructured public web data uses statistical methods and is therefore largely language-independent. The founders want to provide research and analysis for selected international markets such as Great Britain before the end of this year.
