HTPC 2015

HTPC Hannes Korte

We were invited to enter into a dialogue with large companies at this year’s High-Tech Partnering Conference. This event was organized by the High-Tech-Gründerfonds. The supporting programme began with an interesting keynote address from the management of the High-Tech-Gründerfonds. Among other things, some statistics on the fund were reported in this report (source)

– 395 investments
– 1.200 founders
– Average age 5,5 years
– 1,2 billion € investment
– Total revenue: 500 mil. €
– Total dealflow >8.000 companies

Implisense is now part of the High-Tech-Gründerfonds and is part of the fund’s software division:

Portfolio-Übersicht High-Tech-Gründerfonds

There were also a number of pitches from selected startups of the High-Tech-Gründerfonds – and we were part of it. Hannes Korte von Implisense went on stage as CTO to present Implisense’s customer search engine to the audience and to solve a mystery. The organizers had asked all the startups on stage to submit a question and four possible answers for the auditorium. We decided on the following question and four possible answers:

Quiz question:”Good neighborhoods are important for success. Which one did we choose?”

A = VC & Insolvency Administrator
B = five further startups
C = Pub and architecture office
D = Joiner and artist
